This is a list of things that I should code or document to help others get started with Windows Server Containers. Feedback welcome.
- Helm chart + OpenService Broker + Virtual Kubelet = Windows ASP.net app on Azure cheap & easy
- Share a sample starting with a prebuilt Vagrant box in Hyper-V, making some changes, and building a new box with Packer's
hyperv-vmcx
builder - see recent PR - Share a Generation 2 Windows 10 Insider sample with Packer, use it to double check hashicorp/packer#5663
- Finish Vagrant + Hyper-V for k8s lab with 1 Linux VM, 1 or more Windows VMs https://github.com/PatrickLang/windows-k8s-lab
- Have 2 Linux VMs working, still getting right bits together for Flannel plugin on Windows needed for join to work
- See if Vagrant & Windows 1709 "default switch" can work well together hashicorp/vagrant#8573
- Running Windows Server 2016 and 1709 containers side by side with swarm using moby/moby#31616 (comment)
- Find way to use static IPs, or get the right IPs in a Vagrant with Hyper-V, submit PR to https://github.com/StefanScherer/docker-windows-box/tree/master/swarm-demo
- Secure boot Linux with Packer/Vagrant hashicorp/packer#5087
- Write up the 3 node cluster in a lunchbox using Intel AMT for KVM/IP, Mikrotik router, and Windows setup steps
- Update Packer+Vagrant Hyper-V provider to work with new "Default Switch" which is a built-in NAT that actually works right :)
