How do they relate to the values and goals you have for yourself in your job search?
Answer: The industries that immediately come to mind are outdoor recreation, music, and social justice or community building services. Companies that I've been looking into include MountainProject, REI, Soundcloud, Bandcamp, and Quadrant2. Some of these companies have job posting boards for dev teams and others I will need to cold call. I picked these industries and companies because Im interested in the work they do and use many of their services all the time. However I'm not overly concerned with the type of industries my first couple of jobs will be in as I'm more focused on getting any kind of dev job that pays decently and offers remote work.
Build your resume What will you emphasize in your resume that directly relates to your targeted industries?
Answer: Once I have enough projects and technical knowledge I will focus on providing detailed descriptions of them as the focus of my resume. I will also beef up the tech I'm familiar with and separate into lists.
