Please list the top 3-5 industries and companies you'll pursue in your job search as of right now.
Answer: My number one industry I'd like to work in would have something to do with different mountain sport database. A perfect example would be Mountainproject, which is a free to use service that catalogs all different kinds of rock climbs in the world. Upon researching mountainproject I found that it was recently acquired by REI which is a company I would like to try working for, and I think in general anything to do with mountain/adventure sports would be more interesting employment for me. In general though I don't really mind what industry I go into as long as I can lead the kind of life I intend to live. Beyond this maybe live music/arts of some kind.
Why did you pick the industries/companies that you listed above? How do they relate to the values and goals you have for yourself in your job search?
Answer: Working in adventure/mountain sports or live music/art would fit for me because its what I live life for to begin with. However it seems as though companies that have nothing to do with these things but are located in this area are also focused on living mountain-enthusiast lifestyles anyways so as long as I get to live with a certain amount of freedom and good pay I will be happy.
How does your LinkedIn currently reflect your goals and industry interests? What changes will you need to make to your LinkedIn to better reflect these?
Answer: My LinkedIn doesnt really reflect any kind of focus on a specific industry. I think that I could probably include a bit about my passions for rock climbing and live music events and maybe work on some independent projects that might cross over into these fields to highlight my interests.
