There are mysterious ruins just outside the Capitol, where kids sometimes go to play, despite their parents forbidding them. One of your duties is to ensure that nobody ventures inside, for their own safety. During one of your rounds, you stumble across a small temple of some sort. On the altar is a small but beautifully crafted bracelet. What do you do?
A. Take it.
B. Leave it alone.
A. After a quick look around the temple, you decide to take the bracelet for yourself. Nobody will miss it.

B. You leave the bracelet where it is - it was clearly put there by somebody for some obscure purpose.

During one of your daily rounds in the Marketplace, you feel a slight tug on your belt. You quickly react, catching the hand of an urchin girl. In that hand is the small but beautiful bracelet that you found in the ruins. “Give it back!” The girl screams, “That was my mother’s! She gave it to me!” The eyes of the crowd are on you. What do you do?
A. Take the bracelet back and arrest her.
B. Let her go.
A. It’s never fun arresting a child, and the stares from the crowd pierce your back. Still, she tried to steal from you, a royal guard, so she deserves what she gets.
If you have the achievement “Ally of the Urchins”, you lose it. You also lose 1 point of reputation.
B. You release her hand, giving her a stern look. “I ought to arrest you. Don’t lose it again.” She doesn’t think twice before scuttling away, bracelet tucked close to her chest.
