List of mod makers breaking Curse's TOS

List of mod makers breaking Curse's TOS

Note: This list is incomplete. It'll be expanded as time goes on. Feel free to comment below with a link to your Curse profile to help me expand the list.

So apparently Curse has this ridiculous term on their TOS (archived at the time of making this gist):

In order to access some features of the Websites, you will have to create an account. You must be at least 18 years of age to register an account. Minor children may only access account-related features using a parent or guardian’s account so long as the parent or guardian consents and accepts full responsibility for the conduct of the child.

So apparently you have to be 18+ to be on Curse. Not 13+ like any other non-adult-oriented place (Reddit, Twitter, hell even Facebook). So I'm making this list of people who are proudly breaking Curse's TOS, as they should, because this is completely ridiculous. Also note that half of the MCF is breaking this term, but most of them aren't mod makers so they don't count. Now, there's no way they're gonna ban half the MCF. So, can we get their TOS changed?

The list

Bonus: Mod makers who have broken the TOS in the past

YOooooooooooooo!!!!!!! I think you'll find I was 16 when I made my account (so I broke them in the past) :D

I believe vazkii was under 18 when she created her account

Gideonseymour, strikingwolf, and (I think) Parcel31u are (or were) under 18 when they signed up too...

That's enough naming and shaming for now

@jordsta95 Shaming?

No one is being shamed here...

Except Curse.

The ppl who are breaking the TOS should be praised, not shamed.

@SoniEx2 Curse should be shamed, the people breaking the TOS should be amed (neither named nor shamed- just the neutral "amed"), because it doesn't really matter. They didn't do anything of note worthy of praise (well, they might have, but joining before 18yo isn't part of it), Curse just made a stupid rule.
