  1. What is your greatest strength and how do you know?
  • My greatest strength is that I have a drive for success, this means that I will always put my best work forward, including working in teams. I like to always do whatever I can to make sure my team is on top and present high level work. I will do what I can to help my understanding and to help others around me so we can succeed together.
  1. How do you work best?
  • My greatest area of improvement is learning my study habits. I went to a community college for a semester and I had paid out of pocket so I HAD to do well. I quickly learned that I couldn't work in my room when it was mess and I couldn't work where my roommates were. I realized that I had to work in an environment without distractions. This was hard for me because I loved being at home or loved hanging out with my friends, I had to learn how to apply discipline in my life and manage my time. Both things that I will know how to apply to my lifestyle in Turing.
  1. What is your greatest area of improvement?
  • My greatest area of improvement is self-discipline, Although I have managed to work on that, I know that I could work on in a lot more. Many times I find myself procrastinating and I believe that stems from my lack of discipline, I would stress myself out with assignment due dates and even now I sort of saved some of my work for the very end. Due to the lack there of I hope to continually improve on this skill set.
  1. How do you hope to maximize your strengths for your new career in software development?
  • I hope to maximize my strengths by applying myself in ways that my employer would require me to. I feel that being someone who wants to always be on top has its ups and downs, 1 up would be just that my contributions would always be 110%. But one down is that I am a little hard on myself when I don't succeed in being on top. I use that make me better the next time and so I will consistently try my best for my career.
  1. How might knowing about your strengths and working preferences benefit you as a software developer?
  • I'm not someone who likes to talk about my strenghts or myself for that matter but I do strongly believe that it is vital to know certain things about yourself, such as strengths and weaknesses. When you become aware of what you need as a person to succeed academically or even in your career, you add value to your person because it means you will know what works for you and what doesn't, you don't have to go through the struggle of wondering why you aren't understand certain material or why it's hard to focus at your job. knowing my strengths and work preferences helps me better equip myself with what I need to do to be a better software developer.
