  1. What role does empathy play in your life and how has it helped you?
  • Throughout my life, I've gone through a lot of things and it's safe to say that everyone has gone through the struggles that life gives. There were points in my life where I only thought about myself and thought that theres no way anyone is going through the same struggles that I am. Selfishly I closed myself off from a lot of people that way but soon after realized that everyone has their problems which I have no clue about just as no one knew what I was going through. Soon, I analyzed more why certain behaviors of people would occur, such as someone being grumpy in the morning and just empathizing and knowing that I'm not too much of a morning person myself. Or someone being extra anxious over something miniscule and thinking... They probably have a lot on their plate right now because I've been there. It's important to be empathetic, it allows you to create better relationships with people and helps you understand behaviors.

  1. What is your greatest strength and how do you know?
  • My greatest strength is that I have a drive for success, this means that I will always put my best work forward, including working in teams. I like to always do whatever I can to make sure my team is on top and present high level work. I will do what I can to help my understanding and to help others around me so we can succeed together.
  1. How do you work best?
  • My greatest area of improvement is learning my study habits. I went to a community college for a semester and I had paid out of pocket so I HAD to do well. I quickly learned that I couldn't work in my room when it was mess and I couldn't work where my roommates were. I realized that I had to work in an environment without distractions. This was hard for me because I loved being at home or loved hanging out with my friends, I had to learn how to apply discipline in my life and manage my time. Both things that I will know how to apply to my lifestyle in Turing.
