Create a `public.profile` table and keep it in sync with supabase `auth.users` for selected fields in both directions.
/**
* USERS
* Note: This table contains user data. Users should only be able to view and update their own data.
* Some data is synced back and forth to `auth.users` as described below.
*
* `full_name`: synced in both directions
* `email`: synced from user metadata to profile only
* `avatar_url`: synced from user metadata to profile only
* `terms_accepted_at`: synced from profile to user metadata only

Pure ESM package

Pure ESM package

The package that linked you here is now pure ESM. It cannot be require()'d from CommonJS.

This means you have the following choices:

  1. Use ESM yourself. (preferred)
    Use import foo from 'foo' instead of const foo = require('foo') to import the package. You also need to put "type": "module" in your package.json and more. Follow the below guide.
  2. If the package is used in an async context, you could use await import(…) from CommonJS instead of require(…).
  3. Stay on the existing version of the package until you can move to ESM.

Conference MC-ing tips

👀📎 It looks like you're preparing to MC a conference...

🚨 GIANT DISCLAIMER: This stuff is far from authoritative. But it's what I think works for me, and what I enjoy in an MC when I'm attending a conference.

Biggest tip - enjoy yourself.
