  • IGPU: Intel HD Graphics (Ironlake)
  • dGPU: AMD Radeon HD 5470M 512MB
  • WiFi: Intel Centrino Wireless-N 1000 (replaced with Intel Wireless-AC 7260)
  • Screen: 17.3" 1600x900 LCD

Post-installation tweaks

Sound

You need to manually set the model to hp-dv7-4000 in order for the speakers to work properly:

$ sudo echo 'options snd-hda-intel model=hp-dv7-4000' > /etc/modprobe.d/alsa-base.conf

Not working

Fingerprint reader

The driver only recognizes a single swipe. Subsequent swipes are not detected, making enrollment impossible.
