As an Open-Source (OSS) contributor, I volunteer to write periodic updates about the AsyncAPI Docs ecosystem.
I want to note that this is not an official AsyncAPI Initiative update, but a personal summary I'm volunteering to write up for the OSS community. The goal is to let you know what's going on in the Docs area and how the Docs area has been teaming with other areas within the AsyncAPI Initiative. 😀👍🏽
Let's talk about what our GSoD interns have been up to this month! ✨✨✨
- 🧕🏾 Anisat Akinbani worked on... NEW content that ended up being perfect for our new content bucket for
guides! She's currently working on retrieving feedback for her guide, "How to validate AsyncAPI files". She also wrote her first draft for another NEW concept doc, "Consumers". - 💁🏾♀️ Florence Njeri worked on... three NEW Generator Tool docs for the following sections: Usage, Installation, and AsyncAPI Documents as inputs, etc.
- 💁🏾♂️ Pratik worked on... a NEW Generator doc for the
templatessection via/generatorPR #843. - 👩🏽💻 Karuna ... took some weeks off to focus on her college exams and is now back again working on creating a NEW
guideabout Message Validation. - 👨🏿💻 Nelson Michael worked on... addressing final feedback and finally got his work merged for his NEW
ConceptDocs page for the producer spec term. In fact, he's even begun writing his next NEW doc,Protocols. - 👩🏿💻 Thulie worked on... addressing final feedback and now her work is merged for the NEW concept Docs page for the
serverspec term. She got busy and has already picked up TWO more concept pages! She is now writing the first drafts for both themessageandchannelconcept pages.
Great news! At long last, the 2022 AsyncAPI Conference schedule is finalized! We're proud to also let you know that all of our GSoD interns will be able to present at the event!
