Nick's leaving speech

Now, some of you may be wondering why Nick joined the FT in the first place. Well, we heard that Nick was convinced to join because he heard that Will Howard was joining too.

We all know that Nick has a special place in his heart for TypeScript. In fact, I think it's safe to say that TypeScript is his one true love. But don't worry, Nick, I'm sure you'll find plenty of TypeScript to keep you company at Lego.

Speaking of Lego, we heard that Nick is joining the company because he's renovating his home and wants to get a discount on bricks. Well, I hope you're ready for a lot of building, Nick, because at Lego, that's pretty much all they do.

Now, I know some of you may be wondering where Nick has been these past few months. Well, let's just say that Nick has been on the run from a very persistent user profile autocomplete feature that has been following him from team to team. But don't worry, Nick, I'm sure you'll finally be able to shake it at Lego.

And last but not least, we heard that Nick is currently in the process of doing a deed-poll to change his name to Harry. Well, we'll miss you, Nick, but we wish you all the best as Harry.

So, in conclusion, we'll miss you, Nick. But don't worry, we'll always have TypeScript to remember you by.
