Template for DTR Memo

Group Member Names: Jesse Maxim, Andrew Kinstler

What feedback did you get on Dog Party today? What was your biggest takeaway?

J: N/A A: Organizing code.

Goals and Expectations for the Project (You don't know the details of the project yet. But as you go into any project, how do YOU define success?) J: Trying to complete all iterations, keeping code clean. A: I would like to focus on the group part of the project and get better at communicating with a teammate.

Team strengths & collaboration styles (consider discussing your Pairin qualities here): J: Driven and wants to do the work, also wants communication. A: Drive and need to be challenged and good at communication.

How we can use our strengths to overcome obstacles: We should be able to work professionally together to get through anything that might come up.

Schedule Expectations (When are we available to work together and individually? What constraints do we have?): We have pretty open schedules and will be working together a couple of days a week and seperately other times.

Communication Expectations (How and often will we communicate? How do we keep lines of communication open? How will we make decisions as a team?): We will be communicating daily. We plan to have daily check-ins and milestones

Abilities & Growth Expectations (Technical strengths and areas for desired improvement): J: Wants to get better at JavaScript and using it more practically. A: I want to learn everything I can about JS and learn how to impliment and etherialize it.

Workload Expectations (How are we going to make sure we contribute equally?): Our biggest goal with this is just to make sure that we're both sharing all of our work with each other so that we both know and learn what this project is meant to teach.

Workflow Expectations (Git workflow/Tools/Code Review/Reviewing Pull Requests/Debugging and Problem-solving Techniques): Making sure that we're staying organized and communicating if there are issues if there is code that we're pushing to GitHub.

Expectations for giving and receiving feedback: Be professional and using positive communication ("hey can you help me" vs "You need to do this").

Project management tools we will use (GitHub Projects and Trello are popular tools): GitHub Projects and Slack/texting.
