    Packix Free Developer Setup

If you plan on submitting paid tweaks please follow the paid guide down above

STEP 1 - Become Packix Developer

The Packix Maintainers will need your Packix Account ID, this can be found on your Packix account page under your name. You need to DM your account ID to @iospackixrepo. Once they let you know that they have added you as a developer you can continue to the next step.
STEP 6 - Finish Becoming Packix Developer

After we add you as a developer you will need to follow the banner on the top of Packix Developer Panel and fill out your Developer Information, this is what your customers will see. This is the link to the Developer Info to fill our your Developer Info: https://developer.packix.com/#/developer/info

    Packix Paid Developer Setup

IMPORTANT

You must be able to package your product in a proper .deb file to upload it to Packix

STEP 5 - Become Packix Developer

The Packix Maintainers will need your Packix Account ID, this can be found on your Packix account page under your name. You need to DM your account ID to @iospackixrepo. Once they let you know that they have added you as a developer you can continue to the next step.
STEP 6 - Finish Becoming Packix Developer

After we add you as a developer you will need to go the admin dashboard and fill out the PayPal settings, after you fill out the PayPal section and get the green banner saying the settings worked you need to follow the banner on the top of Packix and fill out your Developer Information, this is what your customers will see. STEP 8 - You're Good to Go

You can now upload packages to Packix, simply go to the "Packages" tab and upload your firsy package (.deb)
EXTRA INFO

A package is hidden when the first version of it is uploaded so you can set a price and details if needed. After that you simply go back to the packages page and flip the toggle making it visible. You set a package’s price by using the pencil button next to the “Download Restrictions” header on a package’s page. You use the pencil next to the "Package" header on a package's page to set which iOS Versions it is compatible with and to give a bug report url if you want.

    Packix Plus Plan

With Packix V2 sales we now collect sales tax for all countries and states Hashbang is registered to collect sales tax in, this includes the EU, U.S, and the AU. If you are not registered to collect sales tax in all the above countries your packages must be sold using the plus plan as it is illegal to collect sales tax without being registered and also illegal to not collect sales tax.
The plus plan charges you 25% of your sales or 8% after our payment processors fees if the processor's fees are greater than 25%. You will be paid out on the 1st and 15th of every month with each payment consisting of all sales that have not been paid to you 30 days prior to the payout date.
If you are legally registered to collect sales tax in all those countries/states and give us proof you will be allowed to sell on the standard plan which is 10% after processor fees.
Until further notice all packages will sold on the plus plan.
But I like selling with standard?
We cannot allow you to sell with standard without providing us with the relevant proof or our platform would be helping illegal sales tax collection.

If you are unwilling to comply you can hide all your packages and contact us to discuss further options which are most likely not being allowed to make anymore sales on the platform.
