What forces layout / reflow

All of the below properties or methods, when requested/called in JavaScript, will trigger the browser to synchronously calculate the style and layout*. This is also called reflow or layout thrashing, and is common performance bottleneck.

Steps to install and run PostgreSQL using Homebrew (Mac OS X)

launchctl unload -w ~/Library/LaunchAgents/homebrew.mxcl.postgresql.plist

Rename the old version and update PostgreSQL

mv /usr/local/var/postgres /usr/local/var/postgres91
brew update
