Have you ever gone to therapy and had a hard time remembering what you want to work on? Do you ever feel like your feelings are a mystery to you? The Feelings Tracker is here to help! This app will help you remember to check in with your feelings, and also collect and synthesize that data to help you keep track of how and what you feel, where, and when. This app will help you identify clearly what makes you happy, what makes you sad or frustrated, and hopefully inspire self-reflection and personal growth!

1. _Why are you interested in programming? What have you done to expose yourself to programming so far?_

In the existential sense my interest in programing lies in the firm belief that the next step in my life trajectory of social justice, 
creativity, and motivation lies in the field of technology. I want to enter the world of tech to harness its power for change, and to help 
solve the same problems I have struggled with in all my professional interests, from environmental sustainability to youth empowerment.

In the more practical sense, this academy is an opportunity to transition out of my current sphere of theoretical, humanities-based reasoning, 
and back into the more concrete world of logic and science. In the past year I have taken a few Codecademy courses, audited the first half of
a CSE class at the UW taught by a friend, and pestered my family and friends in the tech industry with questions about their jobs. The 
immense creativity allowed within such a technical science inspires me and I find m

Experience

Full-time Faculty, Billings Middle School - June 2016-present

• 6th grade World Geography teacher - responsible for lesson planning, teaching subject material related to world issues, and introducing the ideas of power and privilege.
• 6th grade Advisor - responsible for the academic, emotional, and behavioral well being of 8 advisees, including parent-teacher communication, discipline, check-ins, and general coaching.
• Expeditionary Education team member - planning the myriad of outdoor experiences offered to the whole school from snowshoeing to 5 day backpacking trips.
• PE teacher - planning different activities to involve even the most reticent participants, and teaching skills to various sports and games.
