simple card game

simple card game is a game for two players.

the players will take a handful of pebbles. the more pebbles the longer the game.

card images

there are images on one side of the cards:

• pipi, the bug
• kala, the fish
• waso, the bird
• akesi, the lizard
• soweli, the land animal
• jan, the human
• jan utala, the warrior
• jan lawa, the king
• mun, the moon
• suno, the sun
• jan sewi, the god.

the game

the pebbles are on the table.

without looking at the cards, each player takes a handful, leaving one card out. each player should have the same number of cards in hand.

each player puts a card on the table, face down, then they count: "zero, one, two" and reveal their cards.

cards would beat the others like this:

• the bug annoys the land animal, the human, the soldier and the king.
• the fish eats the bug.
• the bird eats the bug and the fish.
• the lizard eats the bird, the fish, the bug and frightens the king.
• the land animal eats the lizard, the bird and the fish.

the player with the winning card takes one pebble.

• the human hunts the land animal, the bird, the lizard and the fish.
• the warrior hunts the land animal, the bird, the lizard and the fish and also kills the human.
• the king eats the land animal, the bird, the fish and commands both human and warrior.
• the moon makes all living creatures asleep (bug, fish, bird, lizard, land animal, humans and warriors).
• the sun burns all living creatures and makes the moon fade away.
• the god is superior to all the others.

the player with the winning card takes two pebbles.

when the players have no cards in their hands, they can start over.

when there are no pebbles left, the game ends.

un simple jeu de cartes

un simple jeu de cartes est un jeu pour deux joueuses.

les deux joueuses doivent se munir d'une poignée de cailloux. plus vous aurez de cailloux, plus le jeu durera.

les images sur les cartes

sur chaque carte il y a une image sur une des faces :

• pipi, l'insecte
• kala, le poisson
• waso, l'oiseau
• akesi, le lézard
• soweli, l'animal terrestre
• jan, la femme
• jan utala, la guerrière
• jan lawa, la reine
• mun, la lune
• suno, le soleil
• jan sewi, la déesse.

le jeu

on pose les cailloux sur la surface de jeu.

sans regarder, les joueuses prennent leurs cartes en main. une des cartes restera, face cachée sur la surface de jeu. chaque joueuse doit avoir le même nombre de cartes.

chaque joueuse pose une carte, sans la montrer, sur la surface de jeu. on compte : "zéro, un, deux" et les joueuses révèlent leurs cartes.

quelle carte bat l'autre ?

• l'insecte embête l'animal terrestre, la femme, la guerrière et la reine.
• le poisson mange l'insecte.
• l'oiseau mange l'insecte et le poisson.
• le lézard mange l'oiseau, le poisson, l'insecte, et il effraie la reine.
• l'animal terrestre mange le lézard, l'oiseau et le poisson.

pour chacune de ces victoires, la joueuse gagne un caillou.

• la femme chasse l'animal terrestre, l'oiseau, le lézard et le poisson.
• la guerrière chasse l'animal terrestre, l'oiseau, le lézard et et le poisson ; elle tue la femme.
• la reine mange l'animal terrestre, l'oiseau, le poisson ; elle domine la guerrière.
• la lune endort l'insecte, le poisson, l'oiseau, le lézard, l'animal terrestre et tous les humains.
• le soleil chauffe l'insecte, le poisson, l'oiseau, le lézard, l'animal terrestre et tous les humains ; il chasse la lune.
• le dieu est tout-puissant.

pour chacune de ces victoires, la joueuse gagne deux cailloux.

quand les joueuses n'ont plus de cartes en main, elles recommencent une partie.

quand il n'y a plus de cailloux à distribuer, le jeu est terminé.
