Jekyll, GitHub's static site generator, and Bootstrap were used to create Whispernote's GitHub Project Page. This document shows how.
I wanted a stylish "brand" page for my project, and I wanted to reuse the README file I had created without a lot of copy/pasting. GitHub's Jekyll allowed me to essentially embed the file as a partial. What I got was really an enhanced README file (thanks to some jQuery and Bootstrap), which is exactly what I wanted.
#The power of z
Do you spend lots of time doing things like this?
cd this/is/the/path/that/i/want/so/i/type/it/all/out/to/get/whereiwant
With z, you could just do this:
javascript:(function(e,t){window.open(%22https://delicious.com/save?url=%22+encodeURIComponent(e.location.href)+%22&title=%22+encodeURIComponent(e.document.title)+%22¬e=%22+encodeURIComponent(%22%22+e.getSelection()?e.getSelection():e.document.getSelection?e.document.getSelection():e.document.createRange().text)+%22&v=1.1%22,%22_blank%22);})(window) |

Let's fix that! (yeah!)
