Installing Action Launcher 3 as a system app via Titanium Backup

The following steps describe how to install Action Launcher 3 on a rooted device as a system app, so that you will be able to enable Action Launcher 3's Google Now integration.

Prerequisites

  1. A rooted device (Google if you need help here).
  2. A copy of Titanium Backup installed on your device.
  3. A copy of Action Launcher 3 installed on your device.

Instructions

  1. Open Titanium Backup.
  2. Select the Backup/Restore tab.
  3. Select the Action Launcher 3 entry.
  4. Swipe left in the dialog box to open the Special features tab.
  5. Scroll to the bottom, and under the System ROM heading, select Convert to system app.
  6. For good measure, reboot the device.

It is taking TiBu an awfully long time to convert. Its been like 5min now....
That normal?

Yes that's normally. The prompt window doesn't disappear even after convert process completed. so use a file manager app and go to /system/app(or you can move it there and set permission manually) if action launcher's package is there then reboot device.

or your best bet is to use a root enabled file manager to paste apk to /system/priv-app
and set permission 644 .
