For a variety of reasons, many of them personal, it's become more and more difficult for me to find both fulfillment in my Vue work and the time to actually do it. So I'll be stepping down from the Vue team, effective immediately.

That means I will no longer be:

  • committing to work on official Vue projects and resources
  • representing the Vue team in public or private communication
  • working to maintain and improve the health and capacity of the Vue team and community
  • coordinating with event organizers, project maintainers, and other important members of the Vue community

But I will still be:

  • using Vue to build applications
  • consulting with companies to help them build Vue applications
  • developing and sharing resources for Vue/web developers
  • developing and leading workshops on Vue/web development
  • occasionally speaking at conferences, though likely only a few per year and I may not speak about Vue specifically

If you have any questions/concerns, please feel free to DM me and I'll be happy to address them! I also want to thank everyone in the community for all the ways you've helped me learn and grow over these years and just wanted to assure you that I will not be disappearing completely from the Vue community - and in the near future, I look forward to seeing many of you soon at VueConf US in Austin. 😊

Thank you for your commitment! The care for the community and the docs were a major factor why our teams came and stayed in Vue land.

The documentation of Vue was a big reason I started to use Vue in the first place, your contribution to this was massive and much appreciated, thank you and best wishes for the next chapter!
