April 9, 2016 Scholarships are an import element of the annual []State of the Map US](http://stateofthemap.us) especially this year as we focus on Building Community. We are excited to learn that Wikimedians living in Washington State, Oregon, and British Columbia can also submit for a scholarship from the []Cascade Wikimedians User Group](http://cascadia.wiki/). If you are an active Wikipedia / Wikimedia contributor please contact Pine.
There is also a Travel and Participation Support program that is jointly sponsored by the Wikimedia Foundation, Wikimedia Deutchland (Germany). and Wikimedia CH (Switzerland). More information about this program and how to apply for funding are available on the Wikimedia website.
