The city of Chicago provides an excellent data portal, but the Cook County jail doesn't yet have a good data api. The cookcountyjail inmate tracker is a way to work around this problem. It runs jobs to scrape the website then provides an api for the scraped data. There's a Saturday workshop for it.
Once we identify projects, we can identify tasks

- find issues and work on them
- categorize issues as bitesized to help us plan out tasks that people of all skill levels can help with
