well.. simply, there is no perfect solution and no tool alone, no matter how shiney, 
is going to swoop down and save us. Pushing for a system that ultimately locks masses into an economic panopticon
certainly isn't it either.. 
What's being promoted and driven today is just setting those efforts back.

Those points in that manifesto are key. They just don't apply to privacy only. What i'm getting at?  Every part of our 
stack is flawed and or corrupted. Not only from computing perspective but ...

quite literally everything. The only way to break todays norms is begin addressing those things and taking a stand to
put them in check. Everything from our food production, health, governance has been co opted and corrupted. A shiney tool...
that falls to similar corruption .... BECAUSE IT WAS DESIGNED TO DO SO .... is not in any shape or form going to help 
bring a global resolution to any of that corruption. I can and have made many arguments how quite the opposite is more likely. 

Think about it for just a second.. look at all the things that have transpired since public acknowledgments. Look who was 
involved since early on. What is it do you believe we're building here?

If we take those manifesto aspects and then apply them to what we see, have and hope it's pretty easy to see where 
this tooling fails. BUT.... the broader concept is certainly alive within the whole space. The idea of taking these compute tools 
and distributing them amongst the aware masses while elimitaing control points in communications and interactions we weaken that corruption.
But that alone isn't enough. Those same concepts need to be applied to food, health, governance etc.. WE HAVE THE TOOLS TO KICK START A REVOLUTION TOFUCKINGDAY!!!

The problem im seeing is incredibly narrow mindsets applying this 'revolutionary tooling they claim fixes everything to very narrow aspects
and treating it just like a product like napster or netflix.. or in some cases a facebook. And trying to force the ecnomics to fit the
busted models that helped us get to this dumpster fire of a point in time. So what we have is these people pushing to accept these methods
without an aware majority in order to pump bags ignoring all the faults and concerns around it. This ensures the masses get on boarded to the general system but never fully pushes for aware participation nor addresses the fundamental feature flaws.. and
by design it ends up faltering giving way to the already powerful and already corrupted entities we claim to be 'fixing'. 

Its similar to baby internet.. there's data we could even argue that bitcoin or its precursor was directly sponsored by intel agencies. That aside..
the contrasts are quite similar. Early net we had people running their own community/local ISP's serving the negiborhood connections to the world.. freely!
Then, along came policy and the realization that it's going to take more than one dude on the street to effectively keep up with demand and general design limtations. 
Thus, the big guns were able to capitalize on this, good ol isms yeah?!!!! Kick the little guy out and ultimately end up in bed with corrupted 
governance that has put it in the spot where our data is practically entirely owned by *them*. This isn't just for the internet or what's becoming of bitcoin/crypto..
but everything ..again, from food, health and even our hardware used in our computing needs... everything... has been coopted and corrupted. 

So even running things today.. we have to trust our hardware manufacturers... or prescription/vaccine/food producers and our nation leaders
to do right by *us*. ITS ALL FUCKED... so thinking that somehow.. we're going to take these toolings that they will always have the upperhand
in controlling/monitoring/running and undermine the root of the problem is beyond fucking comical. .... the only way any of this make 
any progress is if the larger majority wakes the fuck up and starts utilizing these tools we yap about all day to begin the process of minimizing and 
ultimately flilpping those root problems to actually work FOR us. Of course this is a short description of all the things... but no one reads
this shit anyways
