Local Food Finder is an online resource that connects eaters with growers. Farm to School works to teach kids where their food comes from, increase the amount of fresh, local food that students eat and increase the number of students who learn the components of a healthy and sustainable community food system. This is accomplished by hosting Farmer Fairs in elementary schools where the farm goes to school, supporting school gardens, procuring local food for the school lunch menu and organizing farm stands in food deserts offering free or low cost locally grown produce along with chef demonstrations, food tastings, garden workshops and more.
