Godot source code in 2002

This is a walkthrough to the Godot codebase over time. I can't publish full repositories, but I will put here the interfaces of some APIs including the year they were created and how they looked like at the time.

2002, Larvotor

This was the first version of the engine as such. It was later on used to create Regnum Oline. This is source code where I am sure I can still put legally here. Here are some class interfaces.

Notes on Common Lisp VS Clojure

Testimonies

CL's compiler

The thing in CL I miss most doing Clojure as my day job? CL's compiler. I like having a compiler tell me at compile time about the mistakes I've made. Bogus arguments. Unreachable code because of unhandled exceptions, and so on. CL saves me round after round of bugs that in clojure aren't found until you run the code. If you test well, it's found when testing, if you don't it's found in production. "Clojure compiler" almost demands air quotes.

CL's optional but oh-so-useful model of type declarations is also infinitely more useful (to me) than Clojure's use of "spec", and instrumentation that happens only at test time because of the cost. Depending on the OPTIMIZE declarations, other type defs are a floor wax and dessert topping. Want checks for argument types? Lower optimizations. Want most efficient machine code? High optimizations.

Mutt + isync mbsync + gmail + multiple accounts.

Mutt + isync multiple accounts Unfinished

This is the setup that I use for mutt, I have two google domain account (read as gmail) and an institution where I work and study account. This means I have two gmail accounts and one outlook 365 account that i want to sync and read via mutt.

I want to store all my email locally as I travel a lot and will be in countries without easy internet access. For this I use mbsync (iSync). As it can handle multiple account types easily and efficently.

The setup works this way

[Remote Mail Servers] <= mbsync => [Local Mail Folders]
