Are you curious if we use Marketo? SFDC? Infer? InsightSquared? Are you curious what percent of our leads are organic vs. paid? Do you get a kick out of solving the case of Encyclopedia Brown vs. the missing MQLs? Do you want to have a meaningful role at the table instead of a supporting one? Yup, we are definitely looking for you!

At UserVoice we create a product management platform which helps companies listen to their customers, intelligently prioritize their product roadmap, and provide an excellent customer experience. We're building a marketing team focused on delivering top-line revenue growth through leveraged methods like inbound marketing and focused SEM. Now, we need someone to help us turn our hacked-together backend into a F1 machine that will help everyone set new land speed records.

We're looking for a very special individual who has a demonstrated ability to build an effective marketing technology stack and the supporting analytics engine. We're not talking about that "build a team cliche" - we need someone who knows the challenge that is building effective processes, iterating on them, selecting the best technologies, and finding the right team members. Our unicorn is part architect, part builder, part analyst, part manager and part mad scientist.

If you're a self-starter with an entrepreneurial spirit, you'll fit right in. We're hiring A players (not rockstars, they just drink all night and sleep all day) - just the absolute best. We've got an incredible opportunity in front of us, a team cranking to execute, and we need someone else to help us get there. Desired Skills and Experience

Key responsibilities:

  • Spearhead projects to add critical new technologies to the stack or replace outdated ones
  • Review our current system and processes with an eye for improvements that will drive additional output
  • Build and maintain an efficient marketing operations system including troubleshooting the occasional issue and wrestling down those pesky bugs
  • Deliver the appropriate information and tools to support analysis of the marketing and inside sales teams
  • Create effective processes that allow other less technical members of the marketing team to easily and effectively build and execute their own programs

Need to have:

  • 5+ years of marketing operations experience
  • A balance of engineering and business mindsets with a high degree of intellectual curiosity
  • Successful transformations you've led within past companies and thoughtful analysis of what worked and why
  • Experience managing the systems that make up the marketing tech stack (Pardot, Marketo, Wordpress, Google Analytics, SFDC, LinkedIn, Infer, InsightSquared, etc.)
  • Experience with list management, lead scoring, nurturing programs, database cleansing, segmentation and targeting
  • A GSD attitude and the willingness to quickly turn around content and materials

Nice to have:

  • Fearlessness with a willingness to try new ideas, concepts, and be wrong (but definitely learn from the experience)
  • Light programming experience, SQL experience is a big +
  • An unabashed desire to work with A players and an unwillingness to compromise
  • Startup experience ideally in a B2B SaaS environment
  • Ability to work daily in downtown San Francisco, CA
