League of Legends Game Page and Home Updates

Hey gamers,

First off I love this program and it makes playing League of Legends on Linux a breeze. That said the game page and assets could use a little updating and a face lift.

Things I would like to update:

• Change Wine HQ link to https://appdb.winehq.org/objectManager.php?sClass=version&iId=36323
• Remove outdated screenshots in slider [0-3]
• Update game banner to || Download Completed
• Optional: Lutris homepage slider image to https://i.imgur.com/EHUP7Yq.jpg || Download
• • New(left) vs Old(right)

As for removing the screenshots, League went through a big graphical overhaul around 2015 and images [0-3] do not reflect the current art style of the game.

The current listed Wine HQ page is marked as obsolete and the user rating of "Garbage" is far from accurate. Not sure how Lutris pulls the status but would be nice to have that reflect the newer revision on the current thread.

I tried to submit the new game banner on the game page but it isn't in my "Submitted contributions" anymore after I submitted some additional changes for other games. Hopefully they can update that for me.

I've already reached out on Discord and had the game icon updated to the current design.

I appreciate everyone's work and am open to suggestions or changes to my proposals. Thanks!

I was getting a login error, it might be temperamental and thus sometimes garbage?
Yeah, quite a lot when I try to launch I get 'We're unable to log you in because you may be online' I've commented out the line suggested on the League forum and still no luck.

Yes. currently the installer does not work. Also, do yourself a favor and do not try reinstalling the game to try getting around the 'you may be offline' error, the launcher just freezes and never gets patch information.
