DTR for Dylan Hofmann and Shannon Moranetz for Wheel of Fortune project
### DTR Memo
Project: Game Time - Wheel of Fortune
Group Member Names: Dylan and Shannon
Project Expectations: What does each group member hope to get out of this project?
Dylan: OOP, Prototype Methods, CSS annimations and fancy pants stuff.
Shannon: OOP, Prototype Methods, CSS
Goals and expectations: Push for 3s on the rubric, finish base functionality first before fancy pants stuff,
After school is best for Shannon and works well for Dylan as well,
We expect to take breaks and not push ourselves past our exhaustion points (poms and breaks are important),
When we devide up work, we are putting in our best effort to solve the issue on our own including going to upper mods or other classmates for assistance.
Team strengths:
Shannon: JavaScript! Troublshooting, git and gitHub
Dylan: CSS, JavaScript
How to overcome obstacles: Pair with Teachers and upper mods. When an obstacle is encountered, we need to pause and make sure that the obstacle is necessary to overcome, and that we are on the right path to begin with. Communication about struggles before it becomes a huge issue.
Schedule Expectations (When are we available to work together and individually?): After school is best. If either person needs to leave, we always have skype for text and video calls.
Communication Expectations (How and often will we communicate? How do we keep lines of communication open?): in person, through skype, texts are good too. Daily for sure, checkin in morning and retro at end of day with clear expectations layed about what we want to accomplish the next day.
Abilities Expectations (Technical strengths and areas for desired improvement): We both want a better understanding of OOP and Prototype methods.
Workload Expectations (What features do we each want to work on?): Driver Navigator as our main way to work. We will try to work together until we get a good foundation then we will be better able to split up remaining tasks.
Workflow Expectations (Git workflow/Tools/Code Review/Reviewing Pull Requests): git/gitHub, waffle. Confirming with other partner before pushing or pulling.
Expectations for giving and receiving feedback: Speak early, be kind, be open.
