Project:Number Guesser Doubles
Group Member Names: Kristen Hallstrom and Dylan Hofmann
Project Expectations: What does each group member hope to get out of this project?
Kristen: Kristen would like to get to phase 3 if not complete it.
Dylan: Get a better understanding of how JavaScript connects to HTML and CSS.
Goals and expectations:
Kristen: Kristen would like to learn how to best work with Dylan.
Dylan: Dylan would like to learn Pairing as well as working with Kristen.
Team strengths:
Kristen: Kristen has done one number guesser project.
Dylan: Dylan is pretty strong in HTML and CSS.
How to overcome obstacles:
Firstly we would like to keep open communication if we are not together.
GOOGLE!
Then find a peer who may know a solution (Adam or David are good resources).
Then we can reach out to other Mods, and finally the instructors.
Schedule Expectations (When are we available to work together and individually?):
We are both happy to work in the afternoons and evenings.
We would like to have a pairing session over lunch or in the afternoons.
Communication Expectations (How and often will we communicate? How do we keep lines of communication open?):
We would like to check in with one another every day. We will communicate in person and over slack and text.
Setting the expectation to communicate any issues as soon as possible.
Abilities Expectations (Technical strengths and areas for desired improvement):
Kristen: Would like to be strong enough in JavaScript to complete later phases of project.
Dylan: HTML and CSS is strong. Would like to improve muscle memory and JavaScript skills.
Workload Expectations (What features do we each want to work on?):
We are going to try to use Pairing with Driver-Navigator so we are both present for the creation of all the major elements.
As we approach the end of the project, we may take on seperate duties to clean up various portions of code.
Workflow Expectations (Git workflow/Tools/Code Review/Reviewing Pull Requests):
Pairing both in person and remotely.
Good Git workflow practices- we will work on this together.
Expectations for giving and receiving feedback:
Kristen will attempt to give Dylan feedback that she thinks will be most helpful.
Dylan will ask for specific feedback as she needs help.
Both people will be open with feedback on workflow.
Agenda to discuss project launch:Allison Please clarify this section. A few of us are a bit hazy on what we need here.

This looks like a solid starting place! I like the list of the steps you'll take with overcoming obstacles.

For the "Agenda to discuss project launch," you could use this space to discuss the practical steps you're taking to start the project, i.e., how are we approaching the project? Are we starting with whiteboarding or wireframing? Are we mapping out the end result? Are we reading through the spec and breaking down the iterations? There isn't a right answer here, it would depend on what you want to discuss as you launch the project.
