PIRL and EGEM Premine

The 72-million Premine Bug in PIRL and EGEM

Due to developers' misconfiguration, PIRL and EGEM blockchain contain the 72 million premine of the original Ethereum blockchain. For example, look into EthDev premine address 0x5abfec25f74cd88437631a7731906932776356f9, on both PIRL and EGEM blockchain, they contain 11,901,484 coins. The bug was disclosed by an anonymous person called "etherhacker".

Reaction from PIRL

PIRL has decided to use a DAO-like hard fork, which forces set those premine account balances to zero.

Reaction from EGEM

EGEM team decided to relaunch its coin on the second day the bug was disclosed. "etherhacker", who disclosed the original bug, thinks that he/she was being treated unprofessionally by the team, and threatens to disclose another bug in the future.

Hey buddy, hope you are doing well. By the way, not sure where you got that information from, but I think it was a joke. There is no premine on egem. Look at the block explorer that address says zero. Anyway, all the gang over at EGEM wanted to wish you the best bro. Keep up the good work on ELLA! It's moon time I think.
