First of all you need to be able to run MAMP in port 80. This is a "heat check" if you don't have any process jamming http ports. You can check it like this:
sudo lsof | grep LISTEN
If you do happen to have any process with something like this *:http (LISTEN)
, you are in trouble. Before with adventure check if it isn't MAMP itself (yeah, you should close that beforehand)
ps <pid of that process>
If you don't see MAMP, you are in good hands, I have just the thing for you:
Encryption should used wherever possible (and plausible).
The demo shows us how we can use SOPS to tick most of the boxes.

The package that linked you here is now pure ESM. It cannot be require()
'd from CommonJS.
This means you have the following choices:
- Use ESM yourself. (preferred)
Useimport foo from 'foo'
instead ofconst foo = require('foo')
to import the package. You also need to put"type": "module"
in your package.json and more. Follow the below guide. - If the package is used in an async context, you could use
await import(…)
from CommonJS instead ofrequire(…)
. - Stay on the existing version of the package until you can move to ESM.
