"Magical" Mason France, "Motor" Mike Korg
Complete each phase of this project to the best of our ability. We are hoping to accomplish full functionality. We are starting out with this as a goal, but . As a team, we hope to work collaborativly to come to a full understanding of the code involved in this project. We hope to work together, as well as independently on portions of this. We will know that we are successful when we are both satisfied with the end product, and can explain the code we used to achieve it.
HTML, CSS, and basic JS. We will try to do some work as driver/navigator and ping/pong. This will help us learn from each other.
When we are challenged with utilizing unfamiliar code, we will try using our analytical thinking to break down what exactly we want to ask our program to do.
Schedule Expectations (When are we available to work together and individually? What constraints do we have?):
We will be available to work together before and after school 3 days this week. Some constraints have been discussed- Mike has to leave after class right away on Friday, and Mason has a thing after class Tuesday.
Communication Expectations (How and often will we communicate? How do we keep lines of communication open? How will we make decisions as a team?):
We will touch base daily, our default time will be at the beginning of lunch.
JS. We both want to grow our knowledge and use of javaScript.
Work separately as we can, then meet up to check in about our understanding and practice collaboration techniques. We want to work together on most of this so we each have a full understanding of what we are doing.
Workflow Expectations (Git workflow/Tools/Code Review/Reviewing Pull Requests/Debugging and Problem-solving Techniques):
Use github. This is a good opportunity to practice pushes, pulls, etc.
No yelling. Open and receptive. Assume best intent. Be liberal with asking questions.
slack, github
Build a file structure HTML. Basic CSS. Think about sections, classes, IDs.
We're gonna have fun!
This is very thorough, and I appreciate that you're keeping fun as a focus!
