ginger & garlic paste 1 tbsp | |
garam masala pdr 1 tsp | |
cumin pdr 1 tsp | |
red chili pdr 1 tsp | |
red color 1/2 tsp | |
salt 1 tsp | |
turmeric 1/2 tsp | |
yogurt 6 tbsp | |
chat masala pdr 1 to taste | |
coriander pdr 1 tsp | |
chicken legs 6 legs | |
kastoori methi 1 tbsp | |
lemon juice 1 tbsp | |
mustard oil 2 tbsp | |
peppercorn pdr 1 tsp | |
ajwain seeds 1 tsp | |
dry mint leaves 3/4 tsp | |
DIRECTIONS | |

Remove skin, clean and cut 2 or 3 long slits on each piece. Apply salt, chilli pwdr and lime juice all over the chicken and keep aside for 15 minutes. | |
Make marination with coriander powder, cumin powder, red chilies, kasoorimethi, turmeric, garam masala pdr, ajwain seeds, mustard oil, pepper pdr, red color to a smooth paste. Add 1 tsp salt to the paste and mix well with yogurt. | |
Apply it all over the chicken making sure to apply well between all the slits and inside. | |
Preheat your oven to 250 degree Celcius. Cook for 30 to 40 minutes till the chicken is tender. | |
Remove from oven and serve hot, garnished with chaat masala, coriander leaves, sliced onions and lime wedges and also can be heated on griddle if serving later. | |
