Support Ukraine now!

Hey dear US citizens

First of all, I'd like to say that all and every Ukrainian are immensely grateful for full support from about 90% of the US population in this hard situation. Without US military aid, there would be no Ukraine now for sure. Nobody else in the world has enough to supply enough ammunition for full-scale war with Russia now.

That being said, I'd like to kindly ask you to nudge one more time your representatives in congress and senate about supplying more weapons(firepower) and weapon types to Ukraine in the verge of upcoming elections. There are a lot of talks on the media that 🇺🇦 military gets everything they need for the fight against 🇷🇺 Russian aggression, but it's sadly very far from truth. Ukraine armed forces had about 1/10 on most positions of what Russia had at the beginning of the war, and the ratio hasn't changed drastically since the beginning of the war.

Now there are massive terroristic rocket/drone strikes going on for 2 months already targeting civilian power plants and residential infrastructure/buildings to freeze/terrorize the population for the upcoming winter, yet only 3! anti-air/rocket 🚀 defence systems were shipped to Ukraine which all were pledged way back in July(and nothing new shipped while terror goes on).

There is a website which helps you do exactly that in just few clicks -- it'll find your candidates and current representatives by zip code, as well as providing you with a modifiable sample letter:

For curious folks, here are also few links for data on the supplied weapons and why it's quite far from enough:

  • A review of how much weapons Ukraine/Russia/US possess(ed) at the beginning of the war. Also includes historical data of all the weapon support Ukraine received since the beginning of the war - link . There are also all sources for that data listed here.  Amount of provided support is confirmed  on congress website. Quick reference -- US supplied 0-1.5% of what's available immediately in the warehouses for most positions, with only one position being 5%(towed artillery).
  • Open letter from 20 US high rank officials and security experts on why US should arm Ukraine until it's too late - link
  • Open article from US research institute on what's at stake: link
  • Open letter from 🇺🇦 Chief General -- Zaluzhny on why it's very hard to do what he needs to do while Russia can strike 20 times farther than any weapon Ukraine armed forces posses and has many times more the raw firepower -- link

Why I'm asking now? Seems like current White House administration goes against immense full bipartisan support from US people(about 90%), and doesn't even use what congress and senate ordered it to do:

  • $2.1-2.3 billion of allocated funds on immediate military aid expired on Sep 30 -- [1][2]
  • There is a land-lease act in effect since May 9, which has not been used or mentioned by White House since it came to effect. It orders POTUS to finalize procedure in 60 days. Not done in 6 months already, and seems like no plans to use it at any point.
  • White House rejects Poland's offer to supply soviet-era jets to Ukraine - [1][2]

If you find that important, please also share the word to your friends and relatives to do the same. 🙌 🤝

Thank you for attention! 🇺🇸 ❤️ 🇺🇦
