Centos warning: setlocale: LC_CTYPE: cannot change locale (UTF-8): No such file or directory
vi /etc/environment
add these lines...
LANG=en_US.utf-8
LC_ALL=en_US.utf-8

2022 and still works on Centos 7 :-) consider to restart terminal so that new locale set takes effect

Sometimes it can only be solved by installing glibc-langpack-en package.
