My Xmonad recipe for OS X Lion

My recipe for setting up Xmonad on Ubuntu GNU/Linux is here.

What is xmonad? Read this page to learn.

Some of these instructions were adapted from the Source Matters Blog. But I also depart from those instructions in certain ways.

preferred way install stack than install ghc

stack (package manager and build tool, preferrered way to manage dependencies)

Installation of NixOS with encrypted root

These are my notes on instaling NixOS 16.03 on a Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Carbon (4th generation) with an encrypted root file system using UEFI.
