Segment can help you get U.S. work authorization if any of the following are true:
- I'm a US citizen or hold a US green card.
- I'm from Canada, Mexico, Australia, Singapore, or Chile, and have a bachelor's degree.
- I'm currently pursuing my bachelor's degree.
- I've received my bachelor's degree in the last year.
- I have a bachelor's degree and have worked in the related field for at least one year.
- I have no bachelor's degree but have five years of full time work experience in the related field.
- I have a master's degree or higher in the related field.
- I'm incredibly qualified in my field (have spoken at conferences, wrote research papers, etc).
If none of these apply, then the only applicable US visa is the H1-B.
There's more demand than supply for the H1-B, so there's a low chance of one being awarded. Additionally, the H1B lottery occurs in April and visas are not granted until October.
Because of this long application cycle, we're not currently able to process applicants requiring an H1-B.
