Most of the terminal emulators auto-detect when a URL appears onscreen and allow to conveniently open them (e.g. via Ctrl+click or Cmd+click, or the right click menu).
It was, however, not possible until now for arbitrary text to point to URLs, just as on webpages.
This post by a security researcher who prefers to remain anonymous will elucidate concerns about certain problematic decisions Apple has made and caution about future decisions made in the name of “security” while potentially hiding questionable motives. TL;DR
Let's say the plugin is at a GitHub URL https://github.com/manasthakur/foo
.
First get the plugin by either cloning it (git clone https://github.com/manasthakur.foo.git
) or simply downloading it as a zip (from its GitHub page).
Adding a plugin in Vim is equivalent to adding the plugin's code properly into its runtimepath (includes the $HOME/.vim
directory by default).
For example, if the layout of a plugin foo
is as follows:
foo/autoload/foo.vim
foo/plugin/foo.vim
FWIW: I (@rondy) am not the creator of the content shared here, which is an excerpt from Edmond Lau's book. I simply copied and pasted it from another location and saved it as a personal note, before it gained popularity on news.ycombinator.com. Unfortunately, I cannot recall the exact origin of the original source, nor was I able to find the author's name, so I am can't provide the appropriate credits.
Today, single page web apps are driving many websites that we use each and every day. Instead of having your browser request a new web page for each and every action you perform on a web page, single page web apps may load all in one request to smoothly and quickly transition with every action you perform.
When building single page web apps, you may decide to retrieve all of the HTML, CSS and Javascript with one single page load or dynamically load these resources as the user moves about your site. Either way, it can be a pain to bundle all of these assets together for the end user to download from your web server. This is where webpack comes into play.
webpack does all of the heavy lifting bundling all of your HTML, CSS and Javascript together. If you write your site all from scratch or depend on dependencies from npm, webpack takes care of packaging it all together for you. It has the ability to take your single page web app, cut out all of the code you don't need, then packa
Here I will show you how to create a bar very similar to the nicklist bar, but instead of showing nickname, it will show znc commands, whenever you click on a command, weechat will send a "help the_command_you_just_clicked" and insert the name of the command in the input bar, then enter any arguments required to the command and press enter.
You will need the following script
Plug 'Shougo/unite.vim'
Plug 'osyo-manga/unite-quickfix'

call unite#custom_source('quickfix', 'sorters', 'sorter_reverse')
call unite#custom_source('location_list', 'sorters', 'sorter_reverse')

nnoremap <silent> <Leader>l :Unite location_list -direction=botright -no-quit<CR> |
