This gist will drive you through creating a Docker 1.12 Swarm cluster (with Swarm mode) on AWS infrastructure.

Prerequisites

You need a few things already prepared in order to get started. You need at least Docker 1.12 set up. I was using the stable version of Docker for mac for preparing this guide.

$ docker --version
Docker version 1.12.0, build 8eab29e

You also need Docker machine installed.

Chromium OS ft. Docker

Chromium OS is cool. Chromium OS with crouton is cooler. Chromium OS with Docker is even cooler. This is specifically a guide for the Chromebook Pixel 2 (2015), but I can't think of any reason it wouldn't work with other devices.

1. Create a build environment
2. Customize the kernel
3. Build Chromium OS
4. Flash Chromium OS to USB
5. Install Chromium OS

Why this way?

1. There is no span1..15 styles, instead your css defines your layout and your html remains semantic and not polluted with display information. As it should be.

2. The markup is incredibly easy, you specify the wrappers width, and then each columns width in percentages. Every other grid framework I've found is incredibly complicated with this.

3. It allows you to have the exact same markup, and completely different styles for different devices, resolutions, stylesheets, whatever. As it should be.
