Title: Shapeshift Integration Amount: 80,000 OSMO

Proposal: Allocate 80,000 OSMO from the community pool for a joint project with Shapeshift to integrate Osmosis into the Shapeshift platform

Description: Osmosis and Shapeshift have been in discussion about integrating the Osmosis AMM into Shapeshift, a crypto management and trading platform. This proposal would allocate 80,000 OSMO from the community pool for funding this project. The funds would be held by an Osmosis multisig, until Shapeshift outlines a project scope corresponding with Osmosis’ expectations. The multisig will disperse these funds to the developers who build this on Shapeshift after determining that these conditions have been met. The funds will be an open bounty available to developers who execute the project. (Members of multisig are still yet to be determined but will be updated later.)

Minimum viable product expected by Osmosis: displaying IBC assets on Shapeshift and allowing Shapeshift users to trade IBC assets using the Osmosis AMM. The value for Osmosis would be accessing a larger customer base and market share. This gives Osmosis more volume, which in turn gives LP’s better swap fees. Shapeshift would benefit by offering more services to their customers, namely offering more assets and being an aggregator across more assets.

Ideally, the integration would eventually enable users to: (1) stake OSMO on the Shapeshift platform, (2) add liquidity to Osmosis pools using Shapeshift, (3) show users’ trading histories on Shapeshift. However the expectation is not that this proposal covers the likely significant funding needed for that.

Special thanks to the Osmosis community, especially Will B. and ExpertBandit, for developing this proposal, as well as Shapeshift for initiating the collaboration. The initial Shapeshift proposal can be found here: https://forum.shapeshift.com/t/proposal-to-integrate-osmosis-and-gravity-dex/74

A second proposal, authored by Shapeshift Director of Operations Dani Wall, was recently published: https://app.boardroom.info/shapeshift/ideation/kjzl6cwe1jw14771kp9445kbpq1i7ejb14bh2hkboe5q3vjxkpydursy5wwufiy
