Pagination Issues

We created a pagination project, following the discussion. Check the issues

This is a long standing discussion in the French community about pagination issues. These are a list of issues for collecting feedback and eventually publish an article on http://www.openweb.eu.org/ or somewhere. Feel free to write in English or French. Consider this place as a draft. UX, code, accessibility thoughts are welcome.

Issues

  • The meaning of Prev/Next with regards to the list. Before-After too.
  • The ability to bookmark of a state in the list, aka ?page=2
  • The ability to share of a state in the list, aka ?page=2&n=5 vs ?items=1,4,5,34,42
  • The visual represensation of the navigation
  • The information passed at each state about the list (first item, last item, number of issues, position in the list)
  • Items being deleted in the list
