I am a passionate learner who likes to make a difference, solve a problem and get involved. I have grown both in my coding skills as well as some networking and inter-personal skills. One of my biggest hurdles has been my own grit in the face of failure and struggling until I was able to concur and achieve again. I had been under-employed and stuck in some jobs without any opportunities for growth or career advancement. I felt totally stuck. I have always been curious about coding and being the tech industry so, I decided to take the leap and attend Turing. I figured that you're going to be a year older no matter what you do, so you might as well do what you need to do to make your life better. This career transition means that I will be able to make a difference and find a career with opportunities for growth and advancement. I will be able to keep growing and learning in a field that I like and am forever curious to learn more about. I will be able to carry both the coding skills as well as what I have learned about myself into my new career where I am ready to work hard and make my own future the way I want it.
