Directives from Bank of France sets the following limits (Apr/2012)
- 0.17% for flexible savings (savings with no restrictions on amount, duration, etc)
- 2.28% for fixed term savings under 2 yrs
- 3.15% for fixed term savings over 2 yrs

- Comptes à terme: flexible rates
- Livret A: 2.25% for under 6000 EUR
- Comptes sur livret (type "disponible"): 1.75% - flexible savings option
- Epargne populaire: 2.75% for under 7700 EUR
- Jeune (16-25 years old): 3.25% under 1600 EUR

- "disponible" 1.50% flexible savings rates with option for increase to 1.75% if loyal customer
- Livret A: 2.25% under 15300 EUR
- Compte epargne: 1.50%
- Jeune (16-25 years old): 3.25% under 1600 EUR

- Assurance vie: 3.35% (Life savings)
- Livret HSBC 2A has multiple rates: 2.00% for amounts under 15300 EUR, 2.30% for amounts between 15300 EUR and 30600 EUR, and 1.50% for amounts from 30600 EUR upwards
- Livret A: 2.25% for amounts under 15300 EUR
- Jeune: 3.25% for under 1600 EUR
- Développement durable (ISA/no tax): 2.25% for under 6000 EUR
