Channels proposal

Motivations

• Make it easier for people to know where to post something
• Make it easier for people to configure their notifications to their likings

• Information

  • announcements: opened to officials (Princes and NCs) for local news and tournaments. Also VEKN newsletters.

  • looking-for-game: clearer name for the same lfg-group

• VTES

  • general
  • cards-and-rules: quick questions and bot commands

• Officials Lounge

  Reserved for Prince, NC, admins. Rename from Officers to Officials

  • (text) officials
  • (voice) Officials

• Cards and Decks discussions

  Multiple rooms so that people can have separated in-depth discussion about decks and cards. More rooms could be added if need be.

• Playgroups

  So each playgroup can setup games. More groups can be added by admins as people ask for them. Maybe we can have a simple rule about closing playgroups that are unused for more than a month or something.

Discussion

I'm concerned about having forgotten some important channels that should be kept.

I'm not sure we can keep the history of deleted channels, is this an issue ?

My basic feeling is that we have too many channels, but maybe others do not share the feeling ? What do you think yourself ? Should we ask other users of the server or make a poll ?
