- Dumpling Specialist. The best dumpling I've had outside of China, freaking delicious! This place is a gem, but very small (4 tables)
- ChongQingXiaoMian. Order all of this: beef in picked mustard green noodles soup, wonton with spicy oil, lamb skewer, braised beef with rice.
- The House of Pancake. Get a bit of everything (pancake, skewers, noodles, etc.)
- Mr Szechuan. Great food, great dry hot pot, great drinks, great deserts.
- Z&Y. Solid sichuan food for big groups.
- Dumpling Time. (Fusion in dumplings, really good but $$$.)
- Cordon Bleu. Hole in the wall but delicious!
- Kui Shin Bo. There's never any line there, in the middle of Japan town, and everything they have is good (nabe, ramen, don, etc.)
- Daheo. OMG this is one of the best restaurant I've ever been. Do as everyone else is doing, take the ox tail big thing with cheese on top. If you haven't been there you're missing out.
- Gusto Pinsa Romana. They're not pizza, they're pinsa, and not only they're delicious they are also healthy.
- Farmhouse Kitchen Thai Cuisine. It's $$$ though, but great.
- Zen Yai. Most authentic thai restaurant I've been.
- l'a Poke.
- The Progress.
- State Bird Provision.
- B pattisserie. This place is amazing, buy everything! Their kouign amann are fantastic.
- Thorough Bread & Pastries. Simple, and yet succulent.
- Tartine. The country bread there is superb.
- Arizmendi Bakery. I like everything there as well, and it's vegan.
- Mr Szechuan.
- U:Deserts.
- Bake Cheese Tart.
