This is a short tutorial on setting up munin to monitor your Django website on ec2.
We're gonna be using Nginx instead of apache here because it's more lightweight and popular between Django developers.
1. Install munin ''''''''''''' :
#!/bin/bash | |
f=$(pwd) | |
mkdir drawable-mdpi drawable-hdpi drawable-xhdpi drawable-xxhdpi
# fake argv and argc in bash
argc=$#; argv[0]=$0 # argv[0] is a prog name
for foo in $( seq $argc ) | |
do |
set itermRunning to (application "iTerm" is running)
set scriptPath to quoted form of POSIX path of ((path to me as text) & "::" & "start.sh")
set user_shell to do shell script "dscl /Search -read /Users/$USER UserShell | awk '{print $2}'"
tell application "iTerm"
activate | |
if not (exists window 1) or (itermRunning = false) then
reopen | |
end if |
Variables | |
========== | |
predefined variables :
- inventory_hostname (fqdn) (normally the same as ansible.fqdn)
- inventory_hostname_short
To know the return codes returned by ansible modules, just use plain ansible -vvv to see them :
ansible -i ~/ansible/arrfab.net/hosts/hosts.cfg -vvv -m copy -a 'src=files/sysinfo dest=/etc/sysinfo' tungstene.arrfab.net
tungstene.arrfab.net | success >> {
"changed": true, |
#!/bin/bash | |
usage() { | |
cat << EOF | |
Usage: $0 [OPTION]... COMMAND
Execute the given command in a way that works safely with cron. This should
typically be used inside of a cron job definition like so:
* * * * * $(which "$0") [OPTION]... COMMAND
Arguments: |
Using JSON in Postgres by example.
docker run --name my-postgres -e POSTGRES_PASSWORD=mysecretpassword -d postgres
