### Outreach:

I reached out to my friend Peter Williams who has been a softare developer for many years.

- Why you want to connect with this person and what you hope to talk about

  *I've known Peter for years but we've never been close. He's a great guy, very smart, and we probably have a lot in common. So I'm viewing this as simply a good excuse to get together. He also has a really good blog on coding.*

- When you will contact them by and how you plan to meet.

  *I contacted him during our PD session and talked to him on messenger shortly after.*

- What your follow-up will look like once you've met with them

  *I really don't know on this one. I'm hoping we'll just hang out more often, or at least stay in touch more.*

- Who do you aim to meet with and why?

  *I'm going to try to have coffee with people who give presentations/lightning talks at local meetups and such, because I plan on doing this sort of things regarding programming ethics.*

- What kind of value do you hope to gain from the experience? What kind of value can you contribute?

  I hope to meet people, talk about ethics (which I've been interested in for a long time). 

- How will you capitalize on this relationship?

  I hope to be able to setup some coffee meetings and perhaps visit some companies.

Norm, this is a good start and as you continue into Mod 2/3 we would love to have you be specific about when you are going to meet ups and thinking about ways to continue to expand your networking to more sources. Do you have a set of questions you use at coffee meetings?
