- Xcode (Not necessary)
- Command Line Tools for Xcode
- ruby -e "$(curl -fsSL https://raw.github.com/Homebrew/homebrew/go/install)"
- brew doctor
- brew update
- brew install python
- vim ~/.bash_profile
- and insert this code:
export ARCHFLAGS="-arch x86_64"
export PATH=/usr/local/bin:$PATH
test -f ~/.bashrc && source ~/.bashrc
- . ~/.bash_profile
- easy_install pip # If you don't have already pip installed
- brew install gcc
- pip install numpy
- pip install scipy
- brew install freetype
- pip install matplotlib
- brew tap homebrew/science
- brew install graph-tool
This is a rather long list. What is wrong with using direct recipe from https://github.com/Homebrew/homebrew-science/blob/master/graph-tool.rb ?
It did work for me (I had brew-installed Python, and XCode).
