Is a useful one-liner which will give you the full directory name of the script no matter where it is being called from

These will work as long as the last component of the path used to find the script is not a symlink (directory links are OK). If you want to also resolve any links to the script itself, you need a multi-line solution:

Reverb Walkthrough

This is a walkthrough of how to configure Laravel Reverb for production using services like Laravel Forge or Ploi. The first step is nginx configuration changes, then .env changes and finally spinning up your Reverb server.

1. Configuring Nginx

Ensure your nginx site configuration has the following inside the server block:

Install highlight. "brew install highlight". (This brings down Lua and Boost as well)

This gist assumes:

• you have a local git repo
• with an online remote repository (github / bitbucket etc)
• and a cloud server (Rackspace cloud / Amazon EC2 etc)
  • your (PHP) scripts are served from /var/www/html/
  • your webpages are executed by apache
• apache's home directory is /var/www/

What?

If a nested array is passed into a Laravel Collection, by default these will be threaded as normal arrays.

However, that's not always the ideal case and it would be nice if we could have nested collections in a cleaner way.

This is where this macro comes in handy.
