        中华人民共和国菜刀法

    第一章 总则

第一条 为了证明在中华人民共和国境内的菜刀的身份，保障公民使用的合法使用权益，便利公民进行社会活动，维护社会秩序，保证和谐稳定，制定本法。

第二条 凡在中华人民共和国境内使用的菜刀，应当依照本法的规定，在购买的时候填写菜刀购买登记表。在交款后，发放菜刀持有许可证。

第三条 菜刀购买登记表的项目包括：姓名、性别、民族、出生日期、住址、公民身份号码、菜刀类型、菜刀编号和用途。菜刀编号是每个菜刀唯一的、终身不变的代码，由公安机关按照菜刀编号国家标准编制。
