Installation

This procedure is tested on Mac OS X 10.8 with Developpers tools installed (xCode).

PHP 5.4 installed with Homebrew.

Preparation

Download the following files from Oracle website (yes, you need to create an account and accept terms):

dajoho

sudo cp /private/etc/php.ini.default /private/etc/php.ini;
sudo php /usr/lib/php/install-pear-nozlib.phar;
pear config-set php_ini /private/etc/php.ini;
pecl config-set php_ini /private/etc/php.ini;
sudo pear upgrade-all;
sudo pear install PHP_CodeSniffer;
